HONEY BEES ARE CUTE AND DESERVE YOUR LOVE
Not all bees are created equal, therefore not all should incite equal amounts of fear that leads to frantic swatting. Did you know there are roughly 20,000 species of bees we know about and those are divided into just seven families. Of those seven families, only one contains the honey-making bees. The North American bee, fuzzy, busy, and adorable, are mostly very docile and calm and don't mind us humans at all. The reason you should relax and not swat is, they only landed on you to take a quick break from hours of flight, and swatting is a sure way to a lead sting.
The Sting
Lately, honey bee's existence has been threatened by the vast amounts of pesticides sprayed on vegetation. The pesticides are killing the very thing vegetation needs the most and that's pollinators. Our little pollinators make sure we can continue to raise fresh produce, so raising bees is extraordinarily beneficial to the environment and when you support beehives like ours you are playing a role in giving back to the environment. You can continue supporting the environment by keeping up with the "Bee Hive" on our King Royal Honey page. Pages and live stream coming soon!
